Mike is a former resident of Alaska and Canada before coming to Bellingham to join Barron Smith Daugert. As the firm's Administrator, Mike is responsible for business and financial operations, and overall supervision of the firm's staff. Mike has accumulated many years of law firm experience in both Alaska and Washington, in addition to several years of banking and special credit experience, primarily in Alaska. Mike enjoys cars and traveling to the various nooks and crannies of the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Joan.

An active theater artist and teacher, Shawn teaches and directs plays at Whatcom Community College and serves as adjunct faculty at Western Washington University. Local work has been seen at The Bellingham Theatre Guild, Lynden Performing Arts Guild, ShakespeareNW, and she is a founding member of ANBAHAR's Black Market Theatre, which has produced its award-winning work at the Seattle Fringe Festival, the BOAT Festival, the AACTFest05 National One-Act Play Competition, and the Washington State Community Theatre Association Kaledioscope Festival. In fact, Shawn recieved an award for Outstanding Direction for "Exit, Chased by a Bear" at the latest (2009) Kaleidoscope Festival. This makes Shawn the most theatrical Legal Receptionist/Office Librarian in Bellingham, and we're sticking to that story.
